Vincent "Vinny" Gabriel Vega of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on August 22, 2020. He was 18 years old. A “drive-up” style visitation will take place on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Come, offer your condolences to Vinny's family, and pay final respects to Vinny while following social distancing guidelines from the safety of you vehicle. Mass of Christian Burial will be the following day, Saturday, September 5, 2020 starting at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1086 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Due to restrictions, there is limited seating so please be considerate of the family. If you plan to attend, remember that due to Wyandotte County laws, please wear a face covering. Following mass, a short graveside service will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Vinny was born on August 23, 2001 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a loving son, and enjoyed spending time with all his siblings. He loved to play baseball and hang out with his friends. Vinny was absolutely one of a kind and there was no one that could match his style. He had such a great, infectious smile, and his amazing laughter will truly be missed.
Vincent was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Salazar; great-grandmother, Armilla Vega; and uncle, Patrick Vega.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Erica Salazar; father, Conrad Vega Jr., and his wife, Gina M. Vega; brothers, Conrad Vega III, Oscar Vega, Dominic Salazar-Vega, and Abelino Meza; sisters, Sette Vega, Selena Salazar, Valissia Vega, Sophie Vega, and Mia Meza; and step-brother, Gabriel Moran; along with many other relatives and amazing friends.
