Mildred Irene Morris, 102, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on November 6, 2011. Visitation will be 10:30 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:30 am on Wednesday, November 9 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. Interment will follow the services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Luther “Harley” Morris in 1966, sons Charles in 1985, Kenneth in 2000, and daughter Shirley Ramsey in 2011. She is survived by son James Morris (wife Dixie) of Roeland Park, KS; daughters Doris Hughes of Overland Park, KS, and Carolyn Jones (husband Jack) of Edwardsville, KS as well as 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Crossroads Hospice, 11150 Thompson Avenue, Lenexa, KS 66219. The family would like to extend special thanks to the people of Crossroads Hospice for the thoughtful care they provided our Mom.
