Martha Juanita Marsh passed away on July 5, 2024, in Kansas City, Kansas, at 88 years old. Born on March 14, 1936, in Stigler, Oklahoma, to Floyd and Floice Fletcher, she was the middle child of her six beloved siblings: Elmer, Venita, Clayton, Carl, Kathy, and Tommy. Martha was affectionately called Juanita or 'Nita' by her family and friends.
Juanita was first married to Bill Bradshaw until his death in 1997. Together, they raised their daughter, Patricia, in Kansas City, Kansas. Juanita had a fulfilling career as a dietitian at the Medicalodges Residential Care facility near her home. Her dedication to her work was evident as she retired as supervisor in 2001 after nearly 30 years of service.
In 2001, Juanita's granddaughters were delighted to walk her down the aisle to wed Jack Marsh. This new season in her life was a joy to witness. Juanita and Jack enjoyed entering their classic cars in various car shows and parades and spending time together making homemade plum jelly to share with friends. Juanita and Jack were married for 20 loving years until his death in 2021.
Juanita found joy in each season by planting fresh flowers and decorating for every holiday. She loved catching up with friends and family in person or over a long phone call; an hour would fly by when visiting with Juanita. An avid sports fan, Juanita would watch nearly every sporting event on TV, especially to cheer on her favorite teams. Go Chiefs! Boomer Sooner!
Juanita's love for her family was boundless. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Wall, grandchildren Stephany (Matthew) Sipes and Ciera Wall, and great-granddaughters Harper, Camryn, and Charlotte. She is also lovingly remembered by her stepdaughters Kim (Carl) Zebuhr and Christy Marsh, as well as her step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Her siblings, Tommy (Lola) Fletcher, Clayton (Jo) Fletcher, and Kathy Ritter, along with numerous nieces and nephews, also survive her. She wins all of the awards for the world's best Granny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Floice Fletcher; her siblings, Elmer Fletcher, Carl Fletcher, and Venita Richardson; her loving spouses, first husband Bill Bradshaw and second husband Jack Marsh; her stepchildren Pamela McDaniel and Robin Marsh; and step-grandson Kenneth Zebuhr.
Juanita's family finds peace knowing that she has been reunited with her loved ones in Heaven, where she rests in eternal joy and love.
