Linda M. Vaughan

Linda Marie Vaughan 62, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away at her home, Wednesday, April 27th, 2011. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Kansas City Hospice. Linda was born November 29, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of James and Ida (Siler) Erskin. She worked at Breddo Foods as a Secretary for a number of years and at UPS until she retired for health reasons. Linda enjoyed making greeting cards and scrap booking. She loved to be with her grandchildren and to watch movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Donald Vaughan; sister: Barbra Harvill and step-son Donald Vaughan Jr. Survivors include her daughter: Melinda Fletcher of Kansas City, Kansas; sons: Patrick Fletcher of Kansas City, Kansas and Jason Fletcher of Kansas City, Kansas; sister Phyllis Mabe of Kansas City, Kansas and brother: Mike Erskin of Kansas City, Kansas. Also left behind to cherish her memory are 2 step- children: Colleen Pellett of Fort Scott, Kansas, and Michael Vaughan of Gardner, Kansas; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren.
