John B. Beggs

John Bryan Beggs, 51, of Basehor, Kansas., passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 1, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8th at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Inurnment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8th at the church prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Bishop Ward BASEBALL Stadium & Field Improvement Fund. John will always be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He was born on October 5, 1959 in Kansas City, Kansas to John C. and Mary E. (Fitzgerald) Beggs. He graduated from Bishop Ward High School. John was currently employed by Sara Lee Foods in St. Joseph, Missouri., as the Purchasing Distribution Manager. Prior to that he had worked at Conagra (Armour Swift –Eckrich) for 20 years, and Red Ranch Rental for approximately 9 years. John is preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Survivors include his wife of 29 years Tammy(Coyle) Beggs, sons: Bryan Beggs (Rachel), Sean Beggs and Zachary Beggs. Left behind to cherish his memory is his grandson Jaxson Bryan Beggs. John is also survived by his mother Mary Beggs, brothers, Joe Beggs, Jim Beggs, Jeff Beggs and Jerome Beggs, sister’s Janice Kraly (Mike) and Joan Beggs. He will be sadly missed by his four nephews and one great nephew.
