Donna was born in Neosho, MO to Jimmie Reynolds and Cretoria Elizabeth (Wiles) Reynolds on August 25, 1951. Donna grew up and went to school in Kansas City, MO, graduating from Southwest High School in 1969. She married James Edward Hinkle on May 25, 1993 in Kansas City, KS. She and Jim ran their construction company for 25 years with Donna as Business Manager. She had previously worked for Massey Ferguson for 18 years. Throughout her working years, she was a Camp Fire leader, which allowed her to spend many precious hours with her four daughters as they were growing up. This fit nicely with her love for nature and being outdoors. She enjoyed many camping trips, float trips, hikes, picnics, gardening, tending to her beautiful Iris collection, and spent much of her time outdoors watching birds, sunsets, and sunrises. Donna was a mother to all around her, so much so that she was called Momma Donna by many, and Nana or Grandma Nana by her grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by Jimmie Reynolds (Father), Cretoria Reynolds (Mother), and Jimmy Paul Hinkle (son).
Donna is survived by James Edward Hinkle (Husband); four daughters and spouses: Jamie and Tommy Brann, Samantha Hinkle, Kristy Soptick, and Janet and Jason Thrasher; James Lincoln Reynolds (Brother), two granddaughters; Katelynne Thrasher and Zoey Hinkle, and five grandsons’; PJ Soptick, James Thrasher, Quintin Hinkle, Owain Isabell, and Chance Brann.
