Charles Tooker, 58, of KCK, passed away October 14, 2018 at home. Memorial visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, October 17th at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112.
Charles was born August 19, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Rebecca “Dolly” (Morgan) Tooker. He graduated from Raytown High School. Charles worked for 30 years for United Airlines, retiring as a load planning manager. He was an active member of the National Foosball Society and holds world records. Charles was also a Boy Scout. As a youth, he delivered newspapers on his bicycle, served as a life guard for many years and competed on the swim team. His prized possession was his cherry red 1965 Ford Mustang. Charles also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two daughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dolly Tooker; his sister, Patty Ann Dill-Dean; his brother, Claude Morgan Tooker.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Cheyenne Tooker, and Cailene Tooker; his sister, Gail De Shon (Larry) of New Jersey; his brother, Michael Tooker of Jefferson City, MO; his brother-in-law, Larry Dean of KCK; and his nephews, David Jackson of Kearney, MO, Chad Jackson of Drexel, MO, Ross Tooker of Lee’s Summit, MO, Kalab Tooker of Lee's Summit, MO, Skyler Tooker of Hawaii, Jordan De Shon of Chicago, IL, and Tyler De Shon of St. Louis, MO.
