Bernie worked as an insurance agent for many years, and started her own company, Bernie Wagner Insurance at age 70. She was a survivor of multiple heart attacks, kidney and lung cancer. Bernie loved flowers and spending time in her garden, but when she wasn’t in the yard, you could often find her at the Argosy Casino playing the slot machines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Bernardine Holton, her sisters, Rita Kennedy and Sharon Collins and her brother, Lawrence Holton, Jr.
Bernie is survived by her children, Mike Munn, Kathy Bovard and her husband John, Susie Munn, Julie Tiemann and her husband Andy, and Bernie Munn; sister, Mary Driver; brother, Robert Holton and his wife Dolores; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; lots of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
