Anita T. Riddle

Anita Teresa Riddle, 66, passed away November 16, 2015 at KU Medical Center surrounded by family. A visitation will be held Monday, November 23rd from 1:00-2:00PM with the funeral at 2:00PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Interment will follow services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Anita was born December 26, 1948 in Mexicali, Mexico to Ramon and Matilda (Perez) Lujan and they moved to Kansas City, Kansas area. She attended grade school at St. Benedict’s and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1969. On December 19, 1969, Anita married Fred Riddle. Fred and Anita moved to Basehor, Kansas where they have been residents for the past 30+ years. She worked as an LPN for 35 years for Providence Medical Center and then at Olathe Medical Center until retirement. Anita enjoyed spending time in her garden, collecting dolls and listening to music.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Matilda and a sister, Margarita Eastwood. She is survived by her husband, Fred Riddle; daughter, Yolanda Philgreen; son, Chad (Amber) Riddle; grandchildren, Jeffrey Philgreen, Alicia Titsworth, Triston Riddle, Kahlyn Riddle and Aden Riddle; and two sisters, Dorita Eastwood and Charlemagne Eastwood.
