Shirley Ann Moleta, age 77, of Kapolei, Hawaii passed away on December 20, 2021. She was born on November 10, 1944 to the parents of Fernando and Gregoria Ramos in Waipahu, Hawaii. She was the youngest in the family of 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She graduated from Waipahu High School and entered the work force in various positions such as desk order clerk, cashier, and customer service.
Shirley married Philip Moleta on March 23, 1974 and was blessed with 5 children. They raised their family in Waipahu, Ewa Beach, and finally settling in Kapolei. Her family has since grown to 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was active in various community activities and organizations. She was a member of the Makakilo and Village of Kapolei Seniors Club, where she made long lasting friendships. Shirley loved her grandchildren, and was always present at their sports games and school functions. They were her pride and joy as witnessed by all of her memorabilia hanging on her walls at home.
She will best be remembered with her beautiful hats and flower adornments, cheering on her beloved grandchildren, and her beautiful smile when she was surrounded by her family.
Shirley is survived by her sisters Josephine, Dolores, Esther and her children:
