Randall “Randy” Simeona, Jr. was a kind, generous, patient, giving, and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend to many, and servant of God. He took his last breath and slept in the Lord on September 13, 2022, with his wife Sandy at this side, at the age of 69 at Adventist Health Castle.
Randall was born on February 13, 1953 in Hilo, Hawaii to Randall Simeona, Sr. and Lillian “Sugar” Kau’i Kekaualua. Randall was a proud member of the United States Air Force who retired after 20 years of service. He served in the Vietnam era, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. Randall also worked with Hickam Fuels Branch after he retired with the USAF, doing what he enjoyed which was refueling airplanes and fighter jets. Randall was proud of the work he did, especially when he had the opportunity to show his grandkids. Dad volunteered with meals on wheels and was a deacon and leader with the SDA Kaneohe Pathfinders.

Dad loved going to the movies to watch the latest action thriller. He loved taking all the kids and we all had fun going with him. Dad loved Christmas, he made sure that the house was decorated top to bottom with Christmas decorations and he wanted to make this holiday special for his family. Dad made sure that the Christmas candy bowls were never empty and always filled with Hershey kisses and chocolates for the kids.
I will always remember Dad as strong man, who endured and overcame so much in his life. He lived for his family and for God Dad lived by faith and through his life he has shown his family what it means to have faith, trust God, give selflessly, and how to love one another without expecting in return.
I leave you with 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV) which describes my dad’s love for his wife, his children, family, friends…
Love is patient, love Is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs, love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
A hui hou, until we meet again. We love you dad.
