I used to giggle when she would roll her eyes and say " Dad your Arab horse friend is here " and take over the booth at the Vernon Kennel Club show so Jim and I could talk Horses .

Jim, I was so sorry to hear about Kim's passing.  We never expect our children to leave before us.  I always marvelled at the way she used to handle the big dogs - especially the Akitas.  Thank you for getting me into the dog show world and introducing me to Kim.

Few of us in the dog community can remember a time when Kim was not a fixture at shows, either as a skilled exhibitor or a phenomenal show secretary, a title to which she gave all new meaning. Always professional and efficient, she was dedicated to making sure clubs and exhibitors alike had the best show possible. For many years, Kim was our next door neighbour at shows and we never ceased to marvel at her energy, her patience and her ability to handle any situation with grace and her ever present smile. No problem was too big or too small and no person was unimportant. Kim made everyone, even the most nervous newcomer, feel welcome and at ease. She was one of the best ambassadors the sport has ever had and we are all richer for having known her. She will be in our memories forever. Our deepest sympathy,

Kim was missed at the Sporting Dog Spectacular this weekend.  She had been involved since its beginnings in 1998 and every year since and it was hard to see her photo on the table and not her behind it.
