It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Clayton Robert May our father, friend and husband on November 19, 2022 at the age of 69 years.
Clayton began his life June 7, 1953. Clayton lived in Surrey with his dad Robert and mother Verna and his two sisters Virginia and Elaine. Clayton went to school in Surrey, graduated and he became a bouncer, which opened doors for him to become a Rodie for the band Trooper, a job Clayton truly loved. Met his wife Deborah and they married in 1979. Clayton then went to work for West Rail Construction with family, truly enjoyed the experience. Clayton and Deborah bought a home in Kamloops 1985 and raised three daughters, Tara, Shalene and Marla. Later on Clayton switched jobs because of his back and went to work for Dawson Contraction at the Landfill; Clayton enjoyed all the customers that came to the Landfill. Clayton’s final job was for Emtra Environmental as a Supervisor.
Clayton went in for back surgery and the pain never subsided, it affected his life. During all of this he was blessed with seven grandchildren Tara & Ryan had Isabelle and Sophie, Shalene and Joe had Shawn and Mason, Marla and Daylan had Roland and Ariel, Marla and Jessy had Kolten. Clayton loved his grandchildren and tried to help out to the best of his abilities.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street.
