Audrey was born in Vancouver BC where she met and married her first husband William(Bill) Taylor. In 1954 they moved to the Clinton area where their 3 children , Sheryll, Sheila and Robert grew up.
Audrey loved the small town community and rural lifestyle. It was there she met her second husband David Bruce and they with her three step children moved to Kamloops. She was deeply ensconced in the rural lifestyle and her favourite hobbies were gardening, Welch Ponies and quilting. She was an active member of The Women’s Institute of BC and was the Governor General of the Welsh Pony and Cobb Association of BC. Audrey’s door was always open and the coffee was always on, her home was cozy and her council was wise.
She is pre- deceased by her first husband William Taylor and second husband David Bruce.
Audrey’s memory lives on through her children Sherry Blanchard (Jim), Sheila Neumann (Les), Rob Taylor and step children Janice Ridings, Shelley Balfour ( John), Doug Bruce (Kelly), 11 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. May her story continue to inspire and remind us of the importance of love, kindness, and connection.
“In love and deep respect, we honor her lasting memory. As per Audrey’s request, there will be no service.”
May Audrey’s legacy continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
