F. Karl Teshima, Jr., 74, of Kihei, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at his residence in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Mr. Teshima was born on April 29, 1936 in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii. He was an assistant police chief with the Maui Police Department. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kuulei Teshima; a son, Frank K. (Lisa) Teshima; five daughters, Leni (Kell) Tanabe, Heidi (Rick) Lambert of Kingman, AZ, Sonya (Joseph) Mauai, Minette (Paul) Ngalu and Tehani (Joeli) Kama; two sisters, Leni (Glen) Rolfson of Draper, Utah and Meta Shannon; a brother, Kurt (Gaylene) Teshima of Las Vegas, NV; 34 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation: Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, Kihei Ward. Viewing will begin 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Services: Service 11 a.m.
Interment: Burial will follow 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park at Wailuku.
