Florida, on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Richard was born in Chicago, Illinois,
to Clarence T. Lehman and Helen Carlson Lehman on August 31, 1935.
A recent transfer to Florida, Dick and his wife, Barbara, spent over two
decades in Arizona, both in Sun City and Prescott, and lived in Hawthorn
Woods, Illinois, and Brookfield, Wisconsin, prior to that time.
Dick graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from
Marquette University in 1958 and subsequently served in the Wisconsin
National Guard.
Richard spent his business life in the specialty marketing business, and
owned his own very successful company, Storyteller, for most of his career.
In addition to playing golf, Dick loved all things sports. During their years
in Illinois, the couple owned Illinois-bred thoroughbreds and raced them at
Arlington Park. He enjoyed spring training baseball in the Phoenix area, and
closely followed basketball, baseball and football. He was an active
participant in fantasy football for many years, including a stint as league
commissioner.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Barbara Margaret Lehman;
three daughters, Laura (Marc) Bresson, Kathy Lehman and Cynthia (Rod)
Kilian; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Always a loyal friend, Dick will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
