Marie A Sharpe

Amy “Marie” Ann Sharpe, 79, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born in Christiana, Jamaica B.W.I on December 22, 1943. She spent her early childhood on the beautiful Jamaica beaches, swimming in the ocean and enjoying her love of fresh mangos and coconut water.

At the age of 13, Marie became a U.S. citizen, calling Miami her home for the majority part of her life. She spent a brief period in NYC with the birth of her daughters but soon returned to the warmth that she loved. She called Cape Coral, Fl her home with the birth of her Granddaughter and in 2019, she moved to Tequesta, Fl to be closer to family.

Marie worked for many years as an office manager for a Psychiatry Practice in Miami but her most beloved role was Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends sharing her love of food, music & dancing but especially cooking for others.

She is survived by her three children Melanie (Robert, son-in-law), Theresa (Kevin, son-in-law), Robert, Jr; Granddaughter Samantha and Great Grandson Hayes.

Marie loved to tell a story and was cheerished by everyone that got to meet her. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be conducted with her children.
