Daniel Quiggle, who was born on November 13, 1970 to William and Lois Quiggle at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach passed away Saturday October 9, 2021 suddenly after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, William Quiggle and survived by his two brothers Dave and Paul, mother, aunt Lorraine Wells, his three children Alexander, Jessica, and Molly Quiggle, and his significant other Olivia Fleming.
He was fascinated by the mechanical nature of everything, and in early life became enveloped in the constant flow of work on engines and motors. He followed his passion every day of his life, from riding motorcycles to fixing cars to crafting new inventions. He was employed by EDF for 29 years, an engineering and design firm that spread his ideas and creative solutions across international borders. During this time he was a devoted mentor of a FIRST Robotics team for which he breathed innovation and success into his work, bringing this team and others to the world championships. Emboldened by his success and praise for his work, he began his own engineering and design company just 2 years ago.
Along this trajectory for greatness, he had given the world three children which he loved deeply and gave them, along with his family, 50 years of laughs and loving support. Though he had at times been tested beyond his perceived capabilities, he always did what he thought was best for his loved ones. He will be deeply missed.
