Betty Moody went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband of 55 years on April 29, 2016. She was born on December 12, 1928 and lived her whole life in Palm Beach County, FL. She was married to James Moody, the love of her life in 1949. Her friends and family agree there was never a more kind, loving and generous lady than Betty, beautiful inside and out. The greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Carver (Ray); son J. Cliff ‘Buck’ Moody (Dede); grandchildren: Brian Carver (Becky), Gloria Hoekstra (Dean), and Allen Carver (Leah); Danny Moody (Carrie) and Angie Smith (Micah); 16 great-grandchildren: Hannah and Ben Carver; Jackson, Robert, Carolyn, Palmer and Jael Hoekstra; Avery and Emily Moody; Ella and Charlotte Carver; Chloe, Noah, Asher, Anna, and Cole Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 6pm-8pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral, Cremation and Event Center.
