Wallace Asbury Hanson, Jr.

Wallace Asbury Hanson, Jr. died August 17, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Florence Tyler Hanson, his children Kathy H. Hanson, Judy E. Hanson, Marsha R. Harding, and Russell B. Hanson, his sister; Mary Pratt, Aunt; Myrl Mallory, grandson; Matthew , one granddaughter; Lisa Harding and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents Wallace Sr. and Ruby Mallory Hanson, also his brothers Paul, Robert and David Hanson. He was a Graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and the owner of United Elevator Corporation. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm here in our chapel. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 21, 2012, 11:00a.m, at Valley Hill Baptist Church, 351 Valley Hill Road Southeast, Riverdale GA. Immediately following the Funeral Service there will be a graveside service at South View Cemetery in Thomaston, Georgia at 3:00pm. Officiating the service will be Rev. David Swieringa and Hinton Harris. In lieu of flowers, Donations would be greatly appreciated to any of the following charities or organizations; Salvation Army, Rainbow House of GA, Liberty University, or Trevecca University as well as online condolence can be made.
