Robert Glenn Maxwell

Robert G. Maxwell age 79 of Jonesboro passed away October 14, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed. He was a proud 23 year veteran of the US Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam. Robert was retired from Atlanta Gas Light after 20 years of service. He was also a member of the American Legion and a Mason and Shriner.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sheila Maxwell of Jonesboro; sons, Robert Maxwell and Scott Maxwell, both of Jonesboro; daughter and son in law, Sharon and Michael Dickhute of Morrow; grandchildren, Jason Dickhute, Stacey Dickhute and Cory Maxwell; great grandchildren, Brittany Dickhute, Triston Dickhute and Jade Hendrix; brother, Bill Maxwell of Omaha, NE; sister, Elsie Boswell of New Orelans, LA.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Camp Memorial Park Cemetery in Fayetteville with full military honors. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
