David Michael Stewart, 77, of Beverly Hills, Florida formerly of Johnstown, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to James W. Stewart Sr. and the late Beulah M. Stewart. David was a graduate of the 1965 Class from Westerville High School. David married his beloved wife Sheila on May 27, 1969 in Muncie, Indiana. David was longtime member of the Masonic Lodge, serving as a 32 degree mason and funeral chaplain. Along with his wife, David was the owner and operator of the former Johnstown BP Station. David loved to travel the world with his family, especially aboard cruise ships. He also loved spending time with his family, most importantly his grandchildren and yorkies. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Sheila Stewart; daughters, Denise and Danielle Stewart; grandchildren, Seth (Jenna) Short, Cierra (Willy) Gallagher, Ashley (Chad) Varney, Izzy Stewart, and Zach and Alaine Kaser; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Grace, Kailee Grace, and Evelyn; father James W. Stewart Sr.; siblings, Bob (Susan) Stewart, James W. (Josie) Stewart Jr., Kathy (George) Herald, and Jeff (Carol) Stewart. In addition to his mother, David is preceded in death by his grandmother, Pearl Green. Family and friends may call from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024 with a Masonic service to be at at 5:30 p.m. at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St. Johnstown, OH 43031. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2024 at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, with John Green officiating. Burial is to follow at Fancher Cemetery.
