Barbara Lou (Denty) Priest was born on February 3, 1938 in Galena, Ohio. She spent most of her years residing in Johnstown, Ohio. For many years Barbara and Norman, her husband of 53 years, owned and operated by a family grocery store called "Priest Market". After that adventure had come to a close, Barbara spent several years babysitting for relatives and neighbors and had an incredible impact on those children's lives. She loved them as if they were her own.
Barbara had many interests and hobbies. She loved to sew. She loved making her famous homemade noodles for family gatherings. Some of her favorite pastimes were reading, shopping, sitting on the deck, watching CNN and getting her hair done by her former classmate, Carol.
She was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved to frequent Bob Evans. Her favorite shopping spot was Gabe's. She loved the TV show The View, the classic voice of Neil Diamond and Chocolate Covered Cherries.
Perhaps, one of her most important qualities was her ability to connect with all four of her children daily. She loved and devoted her life to them. She will be greatly missed by many and forever cherished by all.
We love you, Barbara Lou!
