Mr. William Hiram Deason Jr.

William Hiram Deason, Jr., age 92, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, the son of the late William Hiram Deason, Sr., and Fannie Lou Tunnell Deason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pheba Nave Deason.

William retired with 20 years of service from the United States Air Force having served in the Korean War and also served as a Avionics Technician. He had worked for East Tennessee State University as an Electronic Repairman. He was a member of Clark Street Baptist Church.

Committal Service and Inurnment will be held Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Garden of Last Supper at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Scott Hayes officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
