Robert Scott “Scottie” Thompson, II, age 33, of Elizabethton, TN, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020. He was born in Orlando, Florida, a son of Robert Scott Thompson and Mary Ann Baughan Mascioli. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Chuck and Carol Baughan.
Scottie was self-employed in marketing and attended Grace Fellowship in Johnson City. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, motorcycles, collecting tools to work on his projects, and remodeling his home.
Survivors include his wife, Malinda Thompson; one daughter, Alyssa Thompson; father and step mother, Robert Scott Thompson and Debra; mother and step father, Mary Mascioli and Michael; one sister, Tiffany Jones and husband Matthew; paternal grandparents, Robert Lee and Victoria Thompson; mother-in-law, Melissa Clark; grandmother-in-law, Judith Morton; sister-in-law, Myla Morton; one nephew and three nieces, Matty and Isabel Jones, and Jalyla and Jayella Love; and special friends, Jon Howard and Jason Murray.
Due to COVID-19, a private family chapel service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 2:00PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Murphy officiating.
