Kenneth Byron Weeks

Kenneth Byron Weeks, age 82, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Elizabeth, Louisiana, a son of the late Horace Henderson Weeks and Vinita LeBlanc Weeks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Bryon Weeks.

Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for Kaiser Permante, and for hotels in Las Vegas and California. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 501 Union.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon Weeks; one daughter, Debra Weeks Lyons and husband Timothy; three grandchildren, Brittany Marie Wyland, Kenneth Jon Weeks, and Matthew Daniel Weeks; two sisters, Kathleen Jeanette Boniol, and Nita Faye McElyea; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a memorial service and inurnment in April 2020 at Dry Creek Cemetery, Dry Creek, Louisiana.
