John Ray Scott

John Ray Scott, age 73, of Piney Flats, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the Bristol Ballad Hospice House. Mr. Scott was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a son of the late Ray Huffine Scott and Margaret Johnson Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katrina Diane Scott.

John had previously lived in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to Piney Flats. There he was a member of Mount Paran Church. He was a member of Cornerstone Church of Johnson City where he loved serving in the kitchen and fixing breakfast every Sunday morning. He also served as an usher and helped with several events at the church. He was a System Computer Analyst having built computers and programs. He and his wife Katrina owned and operated J&K Collectibles for many years.

He is survived by numerous friends.
