Edna was a caregiver with a big heart, she loved and shared compassion with anyone and everyone that needed her. She loved first and foremost her very large family, singing in her special country way, and flowers of any kind.
Edna did special things for her family to let them know she cared deeply for them. She would save change throughout the entire year and then use it to make holiday candy for her family and friends. She loved crafting with her grandchildren, and “was always creating something.”
She was a very active member of her church family and loved singing at Growing in God Fellowship Church. Edna loved the Lord and served him through her actions throughout her life.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Bennett; her mother, Pearl Nickelson; her daughter, Brenda Campbell; three sons, Tommy Bennett, Tracy Bennett, and Lloyd Bennett; and her two grandsons, Jason Thornton and Michael Morton
Left to cherish her memory are her children and their spouses, Cindy and Edward Smith, Willard and Robin Bennett, Nancy Bennett, Christine Barrnett and fiancé Steve, Eugene and Patty Bennett, and Eric Bennett; her siblings, Gary Nickelson and spouse Olivia, and Robert Nickelson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members too numerous to count.
