Clayton Forrest Carver, age 32, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with his Heavenly Father on June 8, 2024. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, the son of David and Sherry Carver. Clayton had a heart of gold and was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Girlie Gouge; and brother, Zachery Oden.
Clayton was a 2009 graduate of Cherokee High School. He was of the Christian faith and was saved at an early age. He worked 13 years at UPS, and was currently a Delivery Driver. Clayton was an avid University of Tennessee fan, and loved all sports. He played baseball, basketball, football, and track. He raced BMX and was ranked 3rd in the nation in 1999. He enjoyed playing guitar, traveling, and learning and finding explanations of the Word of God. Clayton will be remembered for always helping others, never meeting a stranger, and being one that was full of life.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Brittany Williams (Jared), Misty Flanary (Krey); two brothers, Grant Gillis (Rebecca), Chris Farmer (Brandi); paternal grandparents, Haril and Brenda Carver, and Bill and Loretta Allen; Special nana, Martha Parker; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Craig Pettiford and Mike Horton; and birth mother, Andrea Allen.
A Private Committal Service and Interment will be held at Monte Vista Memorial Park in Section I with Pastor Scott Farmer officiating. Pallbearers will be his family.
