Catherine Marie Lavelle, age 82, of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Towanda, PA, a daughter of the late John Joseph Lavelle and Mildred C. Bailey Lavelle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert D. Lavelle.
Catherine was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church. She worked as a supervisor at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
She is survived by two sisters, Patricia Scheidel and Joanne Kohut; and several nieces and nephews.
A Committal Service and Inurnment will be held at a later date at Liberty Catholic Cemetery in Liberty, New York.
