 Cindy and I were great friends in high school. She had a Chevy convertible and we thought we were the coolest kids on senior cut day driving down Wantagh Parkway to Jones Beach! Her mom was my  bus driver in grammar school. So when we became friends in high school it was full circle! I went off to college & Cindy married her HS sweetheart. I remember her wedding and I remember going to see  her when Kelly was a baby! I’m not sure if I ever saw her again as life often takes us down separate paths.. Her brother Tim did the flowers for my wedding. I ran into Tim every once in a while (I work in a hospital) and finally put together that he was Cindy’s brother just a few months before she passed.  We ran into each other where I work and I asked him about Cindy. A few minutes later Cindy called him and I was able to talk to her for the first time in over 30 years. It was as if we had only spoken the week before! She told me that she had cancer but that she was going to beat it! She was upbeat and had so much hope! She was such a good person and I miss her so much! God Bless you & keep you! Your friend forever, Eileen 

It has been one year... and its not easier... 
Your kindness, love, encouragement, friendship and loyalty  blessed my life.
I am so grateful for the time we expended together, I miss every hug, laugh, walking on the park, breakfast, lunch or dinner that we shared. You were more than a friend you were an angel in my life. I miss you every day... until I see you again...

My heart is breaking with the loss of my dear friend. As you always did, you did not let me know you had gone into Hospice.  You always tried to shield me from the pain.  Oh, how I wish I had known.  I feel such a void in my heart but I know that God has received the greatest Angel he could ever have.  I will miss you dearly but I know in my heart that you and Kelly are up in heaven laughing together and watching over all of us.  My prayers and thoughts are with your family and until we see each other again, you will be receiving a gift from me every year in your memory.  I love you, my dear friend!!!

Our sister Cindy was a light of hope and encouragement to everyone she met. Her greatest concerns were the health and happiness of her family, bringing a smile to a saddened face and loving the day God gave her. Cindy, you are gone from our sight but not from our hearts. I know you are with Mom and Kelly and your love is eternal.

Well my friend we started this journey together from your first visit to VIM to your last trip to Hospice and I told you from day one that I would be with you till the end! Thank you for sharing the last 29 years of your life with me and my family we have been through a lot together and we were always there for each other in the good times the bad times and the sad times our friendship never wavered it was always steadfast from our first hello to our final goodbye. So till we meet again my friend know that I will miss you oh so much but I am happy to know that you are now watching over us from above...! I will love you always.

I graduated with Cindy and we were great friends from the very first time we met. I know she will be dearly missed by all. My sincere sympathy to all her family and friends.
