Hey bud, if you can read this, we still miss your wacky self. Thanks for breaking the mold. You've inspired me.

I remember the first time I met Brian. Aaron brought him over one night. A few weeks later I bumped into him at a Mogwai show at Freebird. We’ve been friends ever since. 20 years of memories that I will cherish forever. He named his dog after a Beastie Boys lyric and I knew that we were in the same tribe.  He introduced me to Pinback and we were forever sharing our current obsession of music and shows. When I moved cross country, I gave him my sweet little clown fish and he would send me photos and updates. To know him was to love him. And I loved him very much.

We were very lucky to know Brian. He was a good person that always had a contagious smile.  Always tried to make everyone feel welcome.  We will always remember him in his Jeep with his Yellow Lab. My heart is broken upon learning of Brian’s passing. I first met him as he turned my landscaping into a work of art. I always looked forward to seeing him and was amazed at his knowledge of all greenery.  He thoroughly researched  “deer proof” plants for me.  We would laugh when the deer didn’t always oblige. I loved Brian’s easy going demeanor.  I couldn’t wait for him to meet my new puppy and sent him a photo just a few weeks ago and we talked about the next time he would stop by. It’s hard for me to believe that won’t happen. I will truly miss him. Sending my love and prayers to Paul (who introduced us) and all of his family and friends.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Malone family. My husband, Casey grew up with Brian and his brothers and I used to babysit the boys when Brian was about 9 years old! I remember Brian being so sweet, smart, talkative and I really remember his love for reading at such a young age! Fast forward about 20 years later… Casey and I moved back into the same neighborhood where we all grew up and Mr. and Mrs. Malone still live in the exact same house!!! Casey and I are raising  three kiddos and every year on Halloween  we stop by the Malone house for trick-or-treating and to  reconnect for a few minutes. We are so very sorry for such a great loss. May God grant you comfort through this difficult time.

I first met Brian when he started working at JU. It was like meeting an old friend I grew up with. He’s one of those guys that you could look at you’d both just start laughing. He would always lend a helping hand and never asked for anything I’m return. He will forever be in my heart. I love you brother

I’ll always remember Brian fondly as “their older brother.” All those years spent at old Langford Park playing baseball and soccer with all of the Malones is a memory I’ll cherish for a long time. He always engaged in some level of brotherly hazing whether it was directed at Paul and Craig or any one of us in their general vicinity. Looking back I only remember it as being good natured fun.

Although it has been 8 years since I have seen Brian, Some of the best moments of my life have been with him at my side and I recall them frequently with anyone willing to listen.

Brian was truly a special person! He had an amazing personality and smile. I will adore the  memories of the laughter and him running around the backyard playing with kids! We will miss you Brian. Rest in peace 🙏❤️🥹

I first met Brian and the
 Malone family when Brian was in my fifth grade class at JBE. He was a great young man, and I enjoyed his personality. I then taught his twin brothers and befriended his parents, Ann and Tom. My family sends love and prayers to the Malone family!
