She was born September 28, 1912 in Fredericktown, PA, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Verna Clayton Moredock.
Mrs. Crayne was a 1931 graduate of Jefferson High School.
She had worked at Crucible Mine and the Presbyterian Synod Office at Camp Hill, PA.
Mrs. Crayne lived most of her life in Rices Landing and moved to Ohio, in October of 1996.
She was a member of Hewitt Presbyterian Church, Class 7 of the church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
On June 3, 1931 she married T. Hughes Crayne, who died March 1, 1941.
Surviving are two sons, James A. Crayne and his wife Eva of Maple Heights, OH and Robert L. Crayne and his wife Coralee of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Lois N. Steuber and her husband George, Victoria L. Mahoney, James A. Crayne Jr. and his wife Kelli, Mary H. Crayne and H. Michael Crayne and his wife Alicia; six great grandchildren, Lesley Steuber, Christian James Steuber and his wife Brittany, April Hull, Cassandra Mahoney, Clint Mahoney and Kennady Crayne; a great-great grandson, Anthony Gonzalez
Deceased is a brother, Kenneth Moredock.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2011, the hour of services in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P.
