He was born June 4, 1937 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Charles W. “Woody” and Marjorie E. Corwin Huffman.
Bill was a graduate of Waynesburg High School.
He served in the Army National Guard, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 110th Infantry in Waynesburg.
Bill was a member of the American Legion Post #954, Jefferson and a life member of the DAV #123, Waynesburg.
On April 1, 1958 he married Pauline Shriver, who survives.
Also surviving are a son William R. (Connie) Huffman of Waynesburg; a daughter, Kimberly S. (Edward) Swan of Waynesburg; two grandchildren, Dustin T. (Amanda) Jolliffe of Prosperity and Haley S. (Michael) Bennett of Mt. Morris; a brother, Charles Robert (Rose) Huffman of Waynesburg.
Deceased was a brother in infancy.
