She was born September 2, 1939 in Mather, a daughter of the late Steve and Susan Gesnick Topor Sr.
Stephanie was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson High School.
She had worked as a seamstress at the former Greenway Shirt Manufacturing, Waynesburg.
On August 4, 1962 she married Richard B. Lapping, who died February 12, 2014.
Surviving is a granddaughter, Amber (Justin) Brown of Zelienople; a great granddaughter, Daphne Brown; two sisters, Sylvia “Jean” Toporcer of Ruffsdale and Sonia Elders of Peru, IN.
Deceased in addition to her husband is a son, Richard B. Lapping Jr.; are three sisters, Stella Golitko, Shirley Mahle, and Sunday Topor; and two brothers, Steve Topor Jr. and Stanley Topor.
