She was born June 19, 1942 in Pitt Gas, a daughter of the late Albin and Leonore Matthews Cromika.
She was a graduate of Jefferson High School.
On July 30, 1960 she married Darrell L. Day who died July 1, 2005.
Mrs. Day worked as a payroll clerk for Pen Dot in Waynesburg.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg and a former member of the Pitt Gas Missionary Church.
Mrs. Day was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Ann Uhler (Brian) of Clarksville and Kimberly Ann Harvilla-Day of Mather; one son, Darrell Lee Day Jr. of Mather; two grandchildren, Justin Allen Harvilla and Makayla Ayn Harvilla; a sister, Darlene Marie Evosirch (Peter) of Dry Tavern; a brother, Albin Charles Cromika Sr. of Mather; and three nephews. She will be fondly remembered all who loved her.
Friends will be received 3 pm to 7 p.m. Friday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. John M. Poling officiating followed by interment in Greene County Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.behmfh.com
