Mr. Hull was born October 29, 1918 in Hopwood, a son of the late Charles B. and Elizabeth Rhodes Hull.
He lived most of his life in the Carmichaels area, where he was a dairy farmer for almost 30 years. He was also a retired coal miner from Consol’s Kirby Mine.
Mr. Hull was an avid trap shooter and deer hunter. He was a member and President of the Stringtown Sportsman’s Club, and a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
On May 29, `937 he married Mary Parchetta, who died January 16, 2005.
Surviving are a son, John Hull and his wife Joyce of Ravenna, OH; a son-in-law, Dan Titchenell of Prosperity, with whom he had made his home; five grandchildren, Charles E. Hull, Dan Titchenell Jr., Don Titchenell, Renee Anderson and Tammy Jones; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Harshman of Jefferson.
Deceased in addition to his wife are two daughters, JoAnn Titchenell and a daughter in infancy Linda Carol Hull; a grandson, Michael K. Hull; a sister, Violet “Dolly” Broadwater; three brothers, Lloyd “Mike” Hull, Colley “Bud” Hull and Robert Hull.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm Sunday and from 9:00 am to 12 noon Monday, the hour of services in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA, Gregory P.
