Christine worked for several years as the School Superintendent for Bethel Christian Academy for their preschool. She later went to work for Dixon Middle School as their Secretary/Treasurer. While at Dixon Middle School she enjoyed working with the girls cheerleading team and girls athletics and also was a bus driver.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Larn Underwood and Reverend Jenny Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at the Coastal Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband: Joe Gallo; daughter: Elizabeth Rohrer and husband Joshua of Jacksonville, NC; grandson: Jack Rohrer; parents: James and Mary Lang of Bayshore, NY; brother: James Lang of San Diego, Cal.; sister: Lorraine Ebert of Bayshore, NY.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
