Haven't been on here much lately... I lost my Dad tonight. He went in his sleep and I'm glad that we were there as a family. Even though he was unresponsive, we shared with him, prayed with him and got to hug him and say good-bye. We left, hoping to see him the next day. Before we got off the highway going home, we got the call that he passed. He lived a full life, born in Florida, made a family in NY and moved back to Florida. He accomplished things that no one else will ever be able to claim... Like owning the very first Funny Car in the state of New York. Co-owned a cottage on a lake in Ontario, Canada (built by hand). Owned both Eddie's Chicken Coop locations in Rochester, NY, (home of the Boss Sauce). And more.
For me, through it all... He's my Dad. I have some of his ways, his hair, and his sarcasm. He taught me to work hard and to do the job right. I love him and for all of you, family or friend, who feel the same, I wanted to let you know he's gone & share a bit of his legacy. And for those who didn't know, he gave his life to Christ. You will be missed...
