William "Bill" Whitaker, 83, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away April 2, 2012. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Whitaker; step-daughter Patsy Hurst; step-sons Irvin "Skip" Crain and Robert Crain; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members and loving friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Home. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
