July 25, 1969 - August 22, 2021
Wesley, “The MATCO Man”, 52, was called home to be with his Heavenly Father in the morning hours of August 22, 2021. Born in Palatka, FL, Wesley planted roots in Jacksonville, FL where he built a life with his wife and daughter.
Meeting his best friend and soulmate, Debbie Hughes Moore, on that fateful day on September 1, 1995, the two soon wed on October 4, 1998. Together, they raised their daughter and shared a marriage that spanned 23 years of true devotion.
A devoted father and husband, who lived his life through the Lord, Wesley was always there to pray with and for those he loved.
Wesley had a 30 year career at Coggin Nissan. In 2013, Wesley started his own business as a distributor for MATCO Tools, finishing Top 15 in the Nation within his second year. Wesley maintained this excellence, being the top distributor in his district for 7 years.
Wesley’s devotion to his family and career can only be matched by his passion for adventure. Throughout his life Wesley could be found having a good time everywhere he went. Wesley had a true need for speed! Meeting this need, and often exceeding it, Wesley spent years racing cars on the race track. Riding motorcycles was another one of his passions. From bike week to long rides on winding mountain roads, motorcycles and Wesley went hand in hand. Making memories with his wife and daughter, Wesley traveled and enjoyed countless adventures. Off-roading up mountain terrain in the family's side by side is just one example of how adventurous he truly was. When he wasn’t in an RV, side by side, or on a motorcycle, Wesley would most likely be found on the water; scuba diving, boating, skiing, and floating with friends. Wesley had a knack for making a sunny day a whole lot brighter. When the sun would set it wasn't uncommon to catch him cutting a rug to any song, and look good while doing it. If you knew Wesley, you knew that man could dance! We all look forward to dancing with him again.
Awaiting Wesley in Heaven are his Maternal and Paternal grandparents, along with a few dear friends.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Debbie Hughes Moore. Daughter, Ashlyn Nicole Moore. Mother, Frances Moore. Father, Danny Moore (Cathy). Brother, Barry Moore (Pam).
