After she graduated high school, she married Orville Wade, Jr. on October 9, 1956 and had a career as a loving wife and mother. Virginia loved gardening, camping, and became a devote Jehovah’s Witness.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lynn Thomas; son, Danny Ray Wade; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by her husband, Orville Wade, Jr.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
