Thomas Lee Rath, beloved father, son and friend, was born May 4, 1982 in Jacksonville, Florida and passed away June 12, 2019 in Kalamazoo Michigan. Thomas graduated from Keystone Heights High School in Keystone Heights Florida in 2000. Thomas spent the last few years working for Gentz Family Farms near his home in Sturgis Michigan.
Thomas is survived by his son Ryan Rath, his daughter Kaylee Rath, fiance Katie McCarthy, mother, Wendy Jenkins Holton (Glenn), father William J Rath Sr. (Elisa) , two brothers, William J. Rath Jr. (Misty), and David M. Rath; one sister, Lacey Jane Galpin and 3 step-sisters and many extended family members.
A church memorial service will be held at Mill Creek Baptist Missionary Church located at 6019A FL-16, St. Augustine, Florida, on Friday June 21, 2019 from 6-7pm for visiting with family and for a church service from 7pm to 8pm.
Graveside services will be held Saturday June 22, 2019 at 10:00am at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd. in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by a Celebration of Life for family and friends at 11:15am. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church and School located at 1372 Lane Ave S, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
