Bonnie – You and Tom have been such delightful neighbors over the past eleven (11) years.  We still remember the fun time we had eating dinner years ago at the Blind Rabbit in Riverside. Little things about Tom stand out in my memory.  I remember when he got his Equus and was doing Über.  He took great pride in what he did and went out of his way to make his “clients” feel comfortable and well served, whether it was the peppermints he kept in the car or the bottled water.  Customer service was in his DNA.  I remember how dinged up his car got during a hailstorm on the Dames Point Bridge and our discussions about whether it could be fixed.  We were both amazed at the end result.  I also remember Tom’s desire to re-live a childhood experience which resulted in his bringing home a Chocolate Lab.  We had many conversations about puppy development and when to expect what kinds of behavior. Tom and I enjoyed many driveway chats about a host of issues when I’d be walking our little dog, Max.  Susan and I both want you to know are in our thoughts and prayers. Tom will surely be missed by all that knew him.

It was always such a pleasure meeting with you and Tom.  I always looked forward to our time together.   He was such a kind and gentle soul.  I valued the relationship we built over the years.   I’m so sorry to hear of his passing.  Please know that you’re in my prayers during this very difficult time.

I was saddened to hear of Tom’s  passing.  We had wonderful times while high school students at Clinton High.  My sincere sympathy to his family.

The loss of my father has left me with a void I never knew he filled.  He was a special man and would always light up the room with his smile.  He now rests with our Heavenly Father where he is surrounded by loved ones that have passed before him.  I know he has found the best golf course in heaven and is enjoying his new home.

I love you Dad and will think of you every day.

Cindy and I first met you and Tom when we moved into a Condo a few doors from you, at Harborside Village, in Palm Coast, in 2006. Tom introduced himself to me in the parking lot, and later we met you. Meeting the two of you was the beginning of a wonderful friendship, we socialized on each of our patios, it was a great time. We still use the Weber Grill you gave us! Our friendship took us to St. Thomas Virgin Island (2) times, and your home in Jacksonville, to see a Jaguar football game! We always had a great time with you and Tom. May God give him eternal rest.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family . So sorry for your loss.

My Love and respect for Tom is infinite. Our relationship over the years in Clinton will never be forgotten . Beginning with little league pony league and high school and continuing with golf when we rekindled our relationship here in Florida. There are so many stories I will  remember with Tom as we truly thought of each other as the brother neither  of us had. Love and Miss you Brother Tom ❤ 

For everyone sharing your memories, please keep it going. It’s very comforting for our family. He was a special man to many, and very special to me, his son. I only hope to honor his legacy with how I continue to live my life. It’s an honor and a burden I gladly accept.

My sincerest condolences to Tom's entire family at this sad time.  Not only did I graduate from Clinton High School with Tom, I was a childhood friend going back at least sixty years.    As a matter of fact, I have photos of Tom and I, along with a number of other kids, at my 5th birthday party back in 1952.  I am saddened to hear of his passing and wish him well on this next leg of his journey where we will all meet again in paradise with our maker.

I grew up with the Kelley's living across the street.  Our families were very close and I always said if I had had a brother it would have been Tom.  As we grew older and moved apart I still felt that the Kelley family was part of mine.  It has been 10 years since I ran into him at the class reunion.  I got to meet Bonnie and he got to meet my husband and my cousin Janis Faur's husband.   It was like we had never been apart.  Always thought when we went to Florida we would make contact again but difficult when you live in opposite corners of the country. We will meet again some day but until then God Bless you Tom.   You are missed.

Tom and I worked at Kline's Department Store in Clinton when we were in high school. I had a car then and we'd ride to work together after class. We both graduated in 1965. Then he went into the military and I went to college. We didn't connect again til one of the class reunions and I looked at him and he looked at me (of course we both had "matured" since graduation) and both said "I ought to know you".  Then we laughed and realized who each other was.

 We connected like it was just yesterday when we last saw each other.

May GOD welcome Tom into paradise with open arms.

Tom opened the door and laid out the welcome mat for us so many years ago.  Oh, such fond memories of the good times on the T-head of the dock at Palm Coast Marina.  There are few words to express thanks for guiding me into life at Hammock Dunes. We are so sorry for your loss.
