Thomas Frederick Hunt, age 78, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on January 17, 2022. Thomas was born in Hartford, CT on April 23, 1943 to Charles Edward Hunt and Lena Rose Samplatsky Hunt. He married Marsha Masiker Hunt on June 17, 1961. He was a mechanic for many years. Thomas also enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, going to the beach, NASCAR racing and watching football.
He is survived by sons, Michael Thomas Hunt and (Floreina), Steven John Hunt and (Tammy) and Kevin Charles Hunt and wife Ronda; sister, Beverly Uriano; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Johnny, Haley, Kimberlee, and Harmony; and two great grandchildren, Leah and Lettie.
He was preceded in death by wife, Marsha M. Hunt; and brothers, William Hunt and Robert Hunt.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. The funeral service will start at 12:00 PM in the funeral home with burial following at Riverside Memorial Park.
