He served in the US Army and was a lifetime member of IRONWORKERS LOCAL 597. Later he obtained his General Contractor’s license and operated his own Construction Company. Being a Grandfather to 8 Grandchildren and Great Grandfather to 10 Great Grandchildren came naturally to Tommy. His Grandchildren loved his neck kisses with the tickly scratch of his beard and affectionately named him “Granddaddy Fuzzy Face”. He loved spending time with them and took
every opportunity he had to tell them how wonderful and special they were.
Brothers, William “Billy” Cox (Jeanie) and James “Jimmy” Cox (Mary), as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was the strongest, toughest man we have ever known. He was selfless and always helped others. There was nothing he couldn’t do. He challenged you to do better and made you believe in yourself. Motivating you with the words “nothing is impossible, you just have to find a way to make it work”. Our lives are better because of Him.
We will miss this amazing man. There is a huge void in our lives because he is no longer with us.
But he fought a hard fight and now he is at peace and there is no more pain and suffering.
We know one day we will be with him again.
This Incredible Man was loved so very much and was truly Larger than Life.
