Teresa Rose, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born in Staten Island, New York and grew up on the coast of Florida. She attended Melbourne High School until her junior year when she moved to Germany and graduated from Nurnberg American High School. She earned a degree in Marketing from the University of North Dakota. After college, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked for the Army Reserves. During an assignment at the Pentagon in 1996, she met the love of her life, Christopher Rose. They were married in Washington, DC on May 1, 1999 and welcomed their first child, Delaney Christa in 2002. In 2005, their family was completed with the birth of Cassidy Alexis. In 2007, the family moved from Washington, DC to Jacksonville, FL. Teresa loved life, from scuba diving with her family in the ocean’s underwater world to gardening in her own backyard with dogs, Deacon and Daisy at her side. She enjoyed antiquing, traveling, and shopping. She was always rescuing injured wildlife and animals. She was a health enthusiast and enjoyed yoga, spinning, and walking with friends. She was an active volunteer at her children’s school and in the community. Most important, she was a light to everyone she met. She never stopped giving, caring, and loving. More than anything she loved her family. She was a dedicated and loving, wife and mother. Delaney and Cassidy were her world. She encouraged them to pursue the performing arts. She was so proud of them and loved watching every practice, concert performance, and competition. Her husband, Chris, was her soul mate and best friend. Their relationship was filled with laughter, love, and most importantly, adventure.
