Susan graduated from Whitmer High School in 1958. After graduation, she got married and traveled with her husband in the Military. She had many stories to tell of all the places they were stationed. They still kept contact with a close friend, Joyce McClusky, who was stationed with them many years ago.
Susan always had her hands in everything. She joined Beta Sigma Phi in 1958 in Toledo, Ohio and has been in several Chapters throughout the United States and even in England. She sold and collected Longaberger Baskets, worked for Weight Watchers in Newark, Ohio and in Jacksonville, Florida. Susan also worked for Visit Jacksonville for many years servicing visitors at the local visitor centers and events.
Susan loved to shop and could always find the really good sales in the stores. If a friend needed something, she would go back to her8 spare room to find it or make it. She always made her gifts so unique and surprising! Susan was a person who sat back and listened, and usually had a suggestion of what she would do. You could not have asked for a more giving person. She always had a gift to share.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date in Toledo, Ohio.
