Sue Berman Berkey

Suzanne Berman Berkey ”Sue”, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Jacksonville, Florida. She leaves behind her loving husband, children and 7 grendchildren. Sue was born in Cincinnati, Ohio December 14, 1937 to Morris and Annette Berman, Sue resided in Tulsa for 35 years before moving to Jacksonville Florida 5 years ago. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Dr. Michael Berkey, her children, Marla Berkey Perlmutter (Keith), Karen Berkey Turnbach (James), Shari Berkey Nein, her sister Marion Berman Chaliff. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Samantha Turnbach, Lindsay Turnbach, Emily Turnbach, Avery Nein, Georgia Nein, Alexandra Nein, and Cassidy Perlmutter.

Sue and Michael were members of Congregation Ahavath Chesed “The Temple”. Her love of family were of paramount importance to Sue. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 8, 2013 in the King David Section of Greenlawn Cemetery located at 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville FL 32207 with Rabbi Matthew Cohen of the Congregation Ahavath Chesed “The Temple” as Officiant.
