Stacey Lanette Bearrunner (née Ferguson), 47, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her parents and sisters on May 24, 2024. Her parents were abundantly blessed when their beautiful baby girl was born on January 20, 1977, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Stacey was a Hearing Aid Audiologist and dedicated her career to helping others hear better. She started her career in healthcare over 20 years ago. That is when she recognized the importance of empathy for those who suffer from any illness or condition. Stacey worked in a hearing healthcare office and saw how hearing aids changed the lives of many and that’s when she decided to become a provider that changed lives.
Stacey was exceptionally caring and was known for her empathy and warm-hearted nature, always putting her family, friends, and patients first. She had a special gift for uplifting others and bringing smiles to those around her. She was spunky, full of life and had a voice twice the size of her. Stacey was brilliant and had the smarts to do anything she put her mind to. She was diligent and hard-working in all aspects of life.
In her lifetime, Stacey enjoyed hiking, camping, biking, softball and participating in various water sports. She had a deep love for the ocean. The beach was her happy place where she found tranquility. She spent summers with her family in the Florida Keys snorkeling and fishing. The highlight of every trip was Keys shopping. Stacey also found great joy in rescuing feral cats and kittens, nurturing them with love, and finding them furever homes. She was a proud team member of the Springfield Kitty Cat Shack Rescue.
Stacey will be deeply missed by her parents, Shelton W Ferguson and Darla J Ferguson, her sisters Nicole J Pasukinski (Ray) and Alyssa L Tavormina (Brian), her nephews Raymond A Pasukinski Jr, Nicholas S Pasukinski, William V Tavormina, Matthew B Tavormina, Jaccob D Tavormina, her niece Sarah J Pasukinski, her grandfather John J Peeples, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, as well as her beloved kitty cats.
